Laminating and encapsulating

Laminating and encapsulating can also be combined with a robust mounting option. All laminates are UV resistant and 75-85 microns unless otherwise specified
What we do:
Cold Lamination: does not use heat in its application and can be applied to most media. Adhesive film is applied to the printed image covering the print precisely without any border showing and is passed through high-pressure rollers, which bond the film onto the printed image. It is commonly used in conjunction with a hard substrate.

Hot Lamination (Encapsulation ): involves fully sealing or encapsulating the printed material between two layers of heat activated polyester film by passing it through pressurised heated rollers firmly bonding the film to the print with a sealed border around the print. There will be a 5mm clear border unless otherwise specified. It provides ultimate weatherproof protection with a rich gloss finish.
